    This Kraken Black Spiced Rum has all the aromatic character of true spiced rum.  Its vanilla, coffee and cinnamon blend offers a rich and sweet flavour that mixes well and  makes it easy to enjoy. 

    At 47% ABV, Kraken Black Spiced Rum has a significantly higher proof than other spiced rums, which makes it a bolder and more effective mixer in cocktails.

    Presented in a "seriously cool" bottle, is a seriously exceptional blend that has garnered mass market appeal, is great value and worth every dollar.

    A BIT MORE ABOUT KRAKEN BLACK SPICED RUM

    Kraken Black Spiced Rum is distilled in Trinidad & Tobago and blended with a secret mixture of 11 spices and aged for only 1-2 years before bottling.  Launched in the UK in 2010, Kraken is named after a mythical gigantic squid-like sea monster found in Scandinavian folklore and its “horrid” brand story is tied tightly to this myth.

    Body - It’s dark-brown cola color, is due to a healthy amount of caramel coloring added after distillation to represent the black ink spewed by the mythical Kraken sea monster. Mouthfeel is thick and almost syrupy.

    Nose: Reminiscent of root beer with a hint of sweet vanilla and dark fruit.

    Finish: A very long finish reminiscent of charred wood.
